Balingasag, Misamis Oriental – St. Rita’s College of Balingasag (SRCB) has once again made its mark in the academic arena, this time, in the field of journalism.

The school’s skilled students recently emerged victorious in the District School Press Conference 2024 held in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental last October 26-27, 2024. Three young journalists from SRCB secured top spots in their respective categories, qualifying them for the upcoming Regional School Press Conference 2024. Audree Beatrix Castilla excelled in Editorial Writing (English, Elementary) under the guidance of Coach Kherl Virtudazo. Xandra Mae Gonzaga showcased her writing skills in Pagsulat ng Lathalain (Secondary), coached by Henebe Dapat. Francis Mikhael Miso impressed the judges with his photography skills in Photojournalism (English, Secondary), also coached by Henebe Dapat.
